Ladeside is a bright, newly renovated, family cottage in School Street, Bowmore. It was the home of Davie Bell, legendary Cooper (barrel maker) at Bowmore Distillery for 52 years. The cottage is perfectly located in the heart of the village, and island, only metres from the distillery and a short walk from the restaurants, shops, leisure centre, pubs and historic Round Church.
The village is an excellent central base for visiting the wonderful and unique Isle of Islay.
The cottage offers flexible accommodation to a high specification and comprises ;
a double bedroom; a living room/second bedroom with large, comfortable double sofa bed; kitchen/ dining room /living area with a further comfortable double sofa bed; spacious shower room with drying/storage area. French doors lead from the kitchen to the patio and large garden, through which flows the Lade (stream) which supplies the distillery with water.
The property benefits from a dishwasher; washing machine; Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer; wifi and a TV/DVD.
